LaGrange Academy’s SAT scores are the highest in the area 

 

The 2009 SAT test scores for LaGrange Academy are the highest in comparison to all of the local area high schools, both public and private.  LaGrange Academy’s 2009 SAT average is 1637 well above the local scores for LaGrange High at 1459, Troup High at 1421, Callaway High at 1347, as well as Lafayette Christian’s average of 1567.  LaGrange Academy also outscores both the Georgia and National averages of 1466 and 1509 respectively.  LaGrange Academy has closed the gap in SAT scores when compared to regional and nation independent schools as well.  Currently, the Southern Association of Independent Schools’ (SAIS) SAT average stands at 1734, while the National Association of Independent School’s (NAIS) average is 1789.  These remarkable test results underscore the quality of instruction and type of student at LaGrange Academy.
