Mrs. Rosalind Fuller

Why did you get into teaching?

Education has always been an important part of my family as far back as I can remember.  My grandfather was a trustee of our elementary school, so at an early age I learned the importance of education.  Later in my life, I worked in the business world and saw the need for better prepared students to enter the workforce.  I was convinced that I could make a difference in the lives of children by teaching – helping to turn on a “love for learning”.  That philosophy caused me to select teaching not just as a career but as a lifelong commitment.

Why do you love teaching at LaGrange Academy?

LaGrange Academy is special in many ways – the focus on academic excellence, the promotion of the arts, the athletic program, the “family-like” atmosphere and the tremendous parental support.  I love all of these things about LA, but most of all I love the students, because they are the reason we are all here.
