Thanks to the generosity of our LaGrange Academy families, soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq will have stockings for Christmas. Students of Lower School, Middle School and Upper School all pitched in to make this a reality – whether writing letters, making Christmas cards, packing boxes for shipping, completing address labels and customs forms, or taking boxes to the Post Office for mailing. This was a total school effort. About 35 boxes were mailed containing items collected from our families on Veterans’ Day. Two artificial Christmas trees and the trimmings were also sent to again remind these soldiers how much we support them and appreciate all that they are sacrificing. What a reminder of the true Spirit of Christmas – all working together to give to others.
