Last Friday the students of the English as a Second Language class shared food from their native countries in their weekly “Show and Tell” activity. “This gives students a chance to practice speaking and asking questions in front of a group while sharing a piece of themselves and increasing cultural understanding, “ said Baquero. Due to the increase in foreign students, LaGrange Academy opened an English support class this year with students from India, Japan, Korea, and Germany.
