After two seasons of heartbreak, just falling short the past two years, the LaGrange Academy Lady Warriors captured the GISA Class AA state championship title this season.  It was the third fast-pitch state title in the past seven seasons, and it’s the fifth softball championship in school history.

The Lady Warriors beat Brentwood in a three-game series in Dublin, Georgia on Saturday, October 22nd.  After losing the first game of the championship series 15-13 in extra innings, they rallied for a 13-0 victory in Game 2, and they finished things off with a 3-2 win in Game 3.  Coach Charles Parker, the architect of LaGrange Academy’s softball dynasty, was proud of the way the team bounced back after the opening loss.
