Reading List for Rising Second Graders
Summer 2008

Reading List for 2^nd grade.  Please try  to read the following books. You  

should be able to locate these books either at the public library or a book store.

4.     The Littles by John Peterson

Any books by author Arnold Lobel such a Frog and Toad

If the student is reading well independently they may read the books to themselves.  If the student is still a developing reader, these books may be read aloud.  The Reading List books are full of great discussion topics.  Enjoy reading this summer!
