The Reading Instructions

Write a short summary for at least two books.

Please include the following in each entry:

*Title of Book (Remember to underline the title)

                        *Author

                        *Number of pages read

*Summary – Write a brief description of what you read.

Each book summary should be two or three pages skipping lines.  As you write tell your opinion about the book.  If you enjoyed the book, explain why others would want to read it.  If you did not enjoy the book, explain what the author should have done differently.  Bring this information with you on the first day of school to share with the class.  Also be ready to take a Reading Counts test on each book that you read. You can check the school website

to find an up-to-date Reading Counts list.  The website is www.lagrangeacademy.org.

Go to “School Life” and you will see the tab for Reading Counts.
