The Middle School at LaGrange Academy includes sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. It is designed to provide a bridge between the elementary grades to the college preparatory academic and extracurricular Upper School program.
Middle School students are challenged to build academic and critical thinking skills as they grow and develop through early adolescence.
The Middle School curriculum is a comprehensive program that includes language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science classes. Students also take daily Spanish classes and enrichment classes with instruction in art, music, drama, and STEAM. Students are encouraged to excel individually and may accelerate in certain courses, especially mathematics. Leadership and extracurricular activities are available to all students so that each student can explore and experience various activities, including fine arts, music, drama, and athletics.
Every year, our middle school students take an overnight trip. For example, in 2022, our student spent the night at the NASA Space Museum. 23-24 Photos can be found below.
