Our cornerstone in grades 9 through 12 is an upper school college preparatory program with outstanding, experienced faculty. LaGrange Academy provides every student with a strong curriculum balance between AP and Dual Enrollment Classes. It also offers each student the opportunity to experience the fine arts of music, drama, and visual arts.
We offer AP courses in a breadth of disciplines for students, and classes are designed to emphasize analytical problem-solving skills and critical thinking in all areas of language arts and math. Our English Department emphasizes the development of the necessary techniques for complex, coherent written expression, and our foreign language courses are designed to develop the listening, speaking, reading, and writing of a second language. History and social science offerings guide students to become knowledgeable, ethical, and responsible societal contributors.
LaGrange Academy is constantly enhancing its curriculum to keep pace with the ever-evolving needs of our students, who will be our future leaders in a fast-paced global world.
Our high school students enjoy yearly trips to New York City, Florida, and, recently, Texas. While on their trips, students enjoy a mix of educational and experiential activities. Below are 23-24 photos.
