In the Lower School at LaGrange Academy, our number one priority is to make our students feel welcome in every classroom and playing field so that they will take risks, ask questions, and have their desire to learn nurtured at a young age.
We believe in the power of play and creativity and incorporate them into our early learning curriculum. Likewise, daily challenges and structure elements develop self-discipline, resilience, and self-knowledge as learners are essential to our students as they advance to the upper elementary grades. Equally important is our focus on a child’s moral development as we seek to nurture empathy and compassion in our children.
Our 5th-grade class gets an opportunity to sleep with the fish. Every year, our 5th graders spend the night at the Georgia Aquarium.
