Introducing Pre-K 2yr/3yr at LaGrange Academy
LaGrange Academy is proud to welcome our youngest learners. Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, we are opening a new half-day Pre-K program for 2 and 3 year olds.
Running from 7:45 to 11:45 a.m., this program offers the same nurturing, mission-driven education that LaGrange Academy families trust, starting earlier than ever before.
About Our Program
Our new Pre-K program is a half-day experience running from 7:45 to 11:45 a.m., designed to give your child a strong academic foundation during one of the most important developmental windows of their life. Small class sizes, experienced instruction, and a nurturing environment mean your youngest learner will be known, challenged, and celebrated every single day.
Meet Mrs. Becky
Becky Hines | Pre-K 2yr/3yr Lead Teacher
Mrs. Becky Hines brings 18 years of dedicated early childhood experience to our newest classroom, having worked with children from 18 months to 3 years old throughout her career. Four of those years have been spent right here at LaGrange Academy, where she has served in our Kindergarten and Pre-K classrooms.
Mrs. Becky's passion for teaching shines through in the moments that matter most. "Watching a child grow into their own little person brings so much joy," she shares. "The 'ah-ha' moments, the way children just light up, it never gets old." She is equally inspired by the courage her students show: "There is nothing more beautiful than a child who has the confidence to try the hard things and grow as they learn."
Outside the classroom, Mrs. Becky treasures time with her family. She and her husband have been married for 28 years and are proud parents of two: Sadie, an environmental educator with 4-H, and Jakob, currently a junior in college. When she is not with her students, you can often find her cruising the Apalachicola River with her family by her side.
Is My Child Eligible?
To enroll, your child must be at least 2 years old and no older than 3 years old as of August 1, 2026.
